Kerala Nadan Spicy Beef Curry

1.Beef-1 kg
2.Big onion-1/2 kg.
4.Ginger-garlic paste-2 tsp.
5.Chilly powder-2 tbs.
6.Turmeric powder-1 tsp.
7.Coriander powder-1 ½ tbs.
8.Meat masala-1 tsp.
9.Pepper powder-1 tsp.
11.Cinnamon-2 small  piece
13.Coconut flakes-1 small cup
14.Salt(as required)
15.Oil(as required)
16.Curry leaves-2 string


Pressure cook beef  pieces by adding pepper powder,cardamom,cinnamon,cloves and little salt for about 4-5 whistles.Heat the oil in a pan and sauté ginger garlic paste and  sauté sliced onion till it becomes golden colour.When it done,add  turmeric powder,coriander powder and chilly powder .Saute these spices for 2-3 min.Then add chopped tomato and sauté well.Then add cooked beef and coconut flakes and allow to boil till the gravy becomes thick.Then add  meat masala and curry leaves  and allow to boil.Switch off the flame.Serve with matta rice,chappathi,appam etc.
